Just over five years ago, we dared to dream. What began during Melbourne’s lockdown as an ambitious vision to celebrate and support Australia’s jazz community has become something that far exceeded our expectations.
Dingo has celebrated and documented Australia’s vibrant jazz community, featuring the voices of artists, writers, photographers, and supporters from across the country. The decision to conclude the publication has been a difficult one but the time feels right for us. It has come from a range of contributing factors.
We are incredibly grateful to everyone who contributed, subscribed, shared their stories, and supported Dingo along the way. The past five years have been an extraordinary journey of community and creativity.
Back issues of the Dingo Australian Jazz Journal remain available, ensuring readers can continue to access and revisit the collection of writing and artistry it fostered. Now that all subscriptions have been completed we've updated our website, removing the members area. The shop section has also been adjusted with The Music Place now fulfilling all orders.
While the print magazine Dingo comes to a close, Dingo Jazz continues to thrive through its events, productions, as well as exciting new projects currently in development.
