AMERSFOORT WORLD JAZZ FESTIVAL – 22-23 October 2021

On October 22 and 23, Amersfoort World Jazz Festival presents a virtual festival with an international line up as well as a physical Dutch Laureate festival in the Observant in Amersfoort.

The virtual festival presents over 100 artists across two days on three different channels:

  • Dizzy channel – eight concerts from Dutch artists presenting their latest releases;

  • Duke’s channel – presents 16 international laureate concerts from all over the world – including Sam Boon’s AIME, presented by Dingo.

  • Amersfoort World Jazz Club channel presents live concerts from Amersfoort.

Artists will include: Igor Butman (RUS), John Clayton (US), Beets Meutgeert New Jazz Orchestra (NED), Jazz Orchestra of the Concertgebouw (NED), Jakub “Mizer” Mizeracki (POL), and the two Dutch Jazz Competition winners, Aviv Noam and Tijs Klaassen.

WORLD JAZZ CONFERENCE

Held concurrently with the festival is the World Jazz Conference, an annual gathering of jazz industry professionals, presented by Jazz NL (Netherlands) with partners including Banyan Tree Events (India), Szczecin Jazz (Poland), Igor Butman Music Group (Russia), JAZZ I AM (Spain), IKS Consulting (South Africa), Huahin Jazz (Thailand), Ronnie Scott’s (UK) and Dingo Jazz (Australia).

The conference is free of charge and open for everyone who can contribute.
